Does sending emails to a visa office help expedite a Canadian study?
Some Visa officers are mentally unstable. When you think you are helping them, they get it in the opposite way. I know someone who called the consulate for the same reason of yours, they felt pressured and rejected his study permit right after the call. Dont do anything. Just send an email stating that her school is starting soon but dont say hurry up or shit. You are dealing with very unstable people. Her study permit is probably approved if it took this long. Check her status everyday. If you see applicant / profile updated in status it means you will receive a decision soon. Very soon.
