Do Canadian visa officers communicate with the school of applicants?
It depends on student application or visa officer too . Usually visa officers are experts and they get an idea when they see the student application wether it is correct information or some misleading things. If visa officer has some concerns or see any ambiguity then in certain cases they contacted with school to verify the student information. Although in most cases if they see any misleading thing in student file the have authority of denial student application without contacting with the school. So it all depends on visa officer but majority of time they dont contact with school because most already provide the information about student in invitation letter and visa officers are that much expert to conclude wether it is right information or wrong.
